Phoenix-Born Fintech Rolls Out Nationwide Service for Women Seeking Trusted Advisors
Svvy, a women-focused finance-tech startup founded by Phoenix sisters Jenna Biancavilla and Janice Utke, announced its national expansion. After successfully launching in Arizona last year, the company is rapidly growing to match women across the country with licensed, pre-vetted financial advisors they can trust at no cost.
The two sisters were inspired to start Svvy after seeing firsthand the challenges that women face when managing and making decisions about their finances. Biancavilla is an award-winning entrepreneur and the founder of Pearl Capital Management, a client-centric holistic financial services firm, and Utke has 10 years of experience in the technology industry. They merged their skill sets to create Svvy, which offers a free, two-minute online quiz that connects users to female-vetted, licensed advisors in their state. Every advisor is screened through a rigorous vetting process designed to ensure integrity, credentials, and client-first practices.
“Too often, the financial services industry has failed women, prioritizing sales over service and leaving many unsure where to turn,” said Biancavilla, co-founder of Svvy. “We created Svvy to weed out predatory salespeople and ensure women have access to advisors who are trustworthy, licensed, and aligned with their goals. With this expansion, women nationwide can feel more confident and empowered in their financial journeys.”
The expansion comes at a pivotal time. Women now control 51 percent of U.S. personal wealth and are expected to manage 70 percent of global household wealth by 2030, yet many report feeling underserved or even mistreated by traditional advisors. Nearly half of female investors say they’ve been treated unequally or patronized by financial professionals.
The platform has seen strong demand since its Arizona launch, with growing numbers of women turning to Svvy for guidance and high interest from advisors who want to serve them. As the user base grows, advisors are being added selectively to maintain the quality and trust that define the Svvy experience.
“Women are stepping into unprecedented financial power,” Biancavilla added. “They deserve access to reliable professionals who put their interests first. That’s what Svvy is here to deliver.”
