Our Founders
Svvy® was created by sisters Jenna Biancavilla and Janice Utke with the goal to provide a safe place for today’s women to find reputable and trustworthy experts in the professional services marketplace. The two sisters were inspired to start Svvy® after seeing firsthand the challenges that women face when managing and making decisions about their finances. They saw how women were often taken advantage of by predatory investment salespeople, and wanted to create a platform where women can feel confident, safe, and in control of their financial decisions.
Jenna Biancavilla
Jenna, the visionary behind Svvy®, is an award-winning entrepreneur and seasoned financial expert. In 2015, she founded Pearl Capital Management, a client-centric holistic financial services firm. Simultaneously, she oversees an invite only investment company and leads the Arcadia Branch of Geneva Financial. As an active philanthropist, Jenna passionately advocates for abused children and animal welfare by fostering shelter animals and volunteering as a CASA. She holds prominent board positions with Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels, Social Venture Partners, and previously Phoenix Children’s Hospital 40/40. Her exceptional achievements have garnered recognition, including the Phoenix Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award, and the Outstanding Women In Business honoree.
Janice Utke
Janice, the founder of Svvy®, has 10 years of experience in the technology industry. She has worked in startups and high-growth organizations, delivering solutions for accounting, audit, regulatory reporting, and online education services. Recently, her focus has been on forging partnerships with organizations dedicated to Social Impact Investments to fund scholarship programs aimed at increasing diversity in the technology industry through accessible technology training programs. Janice is a licensed Realtor in the state of Arizona and has a strong passion for real estate and real property investment strategies for wealth building.
Cassie Powers
Cassie Powers is the Executive Assistant at Svvy®, bringing a wealth of experience in administrative excellence, marketing, sales, and customer experience. Known for her creativity in operations and strategic thinking, she is a key problem-solver and resource for the entire team. Cassie plays an integral role in ensuring smooth operations while supporting Svvy®’s mission to empower women in finance.
Sabrina Verlander
Sabrina, director of Svvy® business operations, is a dynamic professional with expertise in technology, finance, and operations. Her diverse background and passion for systems and automations exemplify her entrepreneurial drive and dedication to leveraging technology for transformative outcomes. Sabrina has over eight years professional experience in areas of client management and optimizing business operations for investment advisory firms.
Ben Leivian
Ben is an accomplished SaaS Technical Lead with two decades of experience in Full Stack DEV UI UX. He is known for his attention to detail and has worked with a range of projects, including medical applications, e-commerce platforms, and enterprise software. Ben is an expert in collaborating with distributed teams and skilled in communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ty Burke
Ty is a seasoned software developer and SaaS business founder, known for his entrepreneurial drive and self-taught expertise in software development. His software creations cater specifically to niche retailers, and he thrives on collaborating with others to bring their visions to life.
Dominic Bartolla
Dominic chairs the Svvy® advisory board and brings 15+ years of leadership, fundraising, and entrepreneurial expertise, specializing in marketing, branding, and business development. Personal experience with life-changing technology fuels his belief that it can transform lives. As Chair of the Diversity Leadership Alliance, he mentors over 150 underprivileged high school students, fostering leadership and diversity awareness.
